e-JOE warrants every new e-JOE electric bicycle to be free from manufacturer defects in material and/or workmanship for the period of ONE (1) year provided that the product is used in a standard and controlled manner, and maintained according to its owner’s manual.

This warranty is valid in the United States only and applies to the person or entity that originally purchased the product from e-JOE or its authorized dealers in the United States (not transferable to a subsequent purchaser). The warranty period commences upon the date of original purchase. Proof of purchase from an authorized e-JOE dealer and photo/video evidence of the defect are required to receive the warranty support.

What is covered by this warranty?

e-JOE Bikes warrants every new e-JOE product against defects in material and/or workmanship as follows:

Limited ONE (1) Year Components Warranty

e-JOE electric bicycle: frame, suspension fork, stem, handlebar, headset, LCD display, seat post, saddle, brake levers, cables, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, chain, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, calipers, shifter, brake discs/rotors, brake/shifter cables, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, kickstand, grips, head and tail lights, rear rack, fenders, reflectors, and hardware;

MOMAS electric scooter: handlebars, handlebar sleeves, t-bar, stem, positioning pin, dashboard, throttle unit, brake lever, t-bar tightening lever, securing latch, ride board, charging socket, kickstand, rear wheel brake, rear wheel, motor, and hardware.

Limited ONE (1) Year Lithium-Ion Battery Warranty

Lithium-Ion batteries are warranted to be free from manufacturer defects in materials and/or workmanship for ONE (1) year period from the date of original purchase. The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance, misuse, normal wear or water damage.

Limited 30 Days Full Replacement Warranty

If an e-JOE product is not working properly because of a major manufacturer defect within the first 30 days of original purchase, e-JOE Bike will repair or replace any defective product at its sole option and expense upon determining whether the damage, failure, or loss is due to a major manufacturer defect. e-JOE will first issue replacement parts for a reasonable number of tries (as determined by e-JOE). If the product does not function properly after the parts replacement attempts, e-JOE will send a full replacement bicycle or scooter upon receipt and inspection of the original product and replacement parts.
e-JOE reserves the right to charge 10% of the product price in case the original product is returned in a bad manner, with the insufficient protective material, not in accordance with the instructions provided by e-JOE, or shows signs of excessive use, neglect, dirt, dust. A full replacement product will be issued only after such fee is paid in full.

Limited 7 DAYS Shipping Damages Coverage

e-JOE will repair or replace the parts damaged during shipping at its sole option provided that such damage is documented on the bill of lading and reported to the dealer or e-JOE within the first 7 days after delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the box and the product at the time of delivery, take pictures of any damage and keep all packaging and paperwork until the damage claim process is complete.

What is NOT covered by this warranty?

  • e-JOE product without presented proof of purchase from an authorized e-JOE dealer AND photo/video evidence of the defect;
  • e-JOE product purchased from an unauthorized e-JOE dealer;
  • e-JOE product with an expired warranty period;
  • e-JOE product transferred to a subsequent purchaser or owner;
  • normal wear and tear (scrapes, scratches, etc.);
  • consumables (components that are subject to a short life and periodic replacement due to their functions including, but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, spokes, alkaline batteries, saddle covering, paint, mineral oil, and other lubricants);
  • assembly or tune-up fees;
  • costs associated with inspection, labor, packaging material, shipping of warranted products;
  • damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, improper assembly, use of incompatible and non-original parts, improper maintenance, storage, and transportation, alterations, modifications, acts of God, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, water damage, operator’s error, commercial activities, extreme or excessive riding, and other types of non-standard use;
  • damage or defects resulting from an attempted repair unless performed by an authorized e-JOE Dealer with e-JOE’s knowledge and approval;
  • damage or defects caused by flood, lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, brownouts or sags (damage due to low voltage disturbances).


Unless purchased or picked up in our store, E-Joe BIKES Return Policy is as follows to perform a return:

Step 1

Make sure to have the following available: original bill of sale with unexpired warranty period (proof of purchase), photo/video evidence of the defective part or product, and main product information (such as model, serial number, battery voltage, motor wattage).

Step 2

Read the respective manual and FAQs for troubleshooting and repair instructions. If the solution is not found, contact the authorized e-JOE Bike dealer (seller) from whom you purchased your product and report an issue. As your number one resource, the dealer shall evaluate the problem, provide instructions for troubleshooting and make attempts at resolving it.

Step 3

If the issue is deemed as manufacture defect in materials and/or workmanship, fill out the warranty claim form below. e-JOE shall repair or replace parts that are found by e-JOE to be defective and covered by the limited warranty.

If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, e-JOE reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality. Replacement products may be new or reconditioned. All products that are replaced will become the property of e-JOE and must be returned upon request. Any item repaired or replaced under these terms will be covered by the limited warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Terms of warranty published on https://ejoebike.net/warranty/ are considered current and controlling when a warranty claim is made. In no event shall e-JOE Bikes be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products.

e-JOE reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim.

Is shipping outside the USA 48 lower states possible?

We do not currently ship that far at this time.

How do electric bikes work?
E-bikes run on an electric motor that draws power from the lithium ion battery pack. Most electric bikes can be propelled forward by manually pedaling, using the throttle in addition to pedaling, or using just the throttle. Each Murf Electric Bike has all three modes built in.
What is the difference between Peddle Assist and Throttle mode?
Under Peddle Assist mode, there's 5 speed levels. Level 1 is the slowest and 5 is the fastest. The top speed is limited by rider. Under throttle model, just twist the throttle and you can go up to 20MPH without any strength.
How far can I travel on a single charge?
Depending on the model, you expect anywhere from a 25-40 mile range depending on your battery size. If you're lighter you will likely achieve the higher part of that range. We've tested our bikes many times to give you an accurate real world range. But things change depending on terrain, rider size, rider style, and various inclines. Our typical rider gets in the 30-35 mile range.
What are electric bikes used for?
An electric bicycle can be used for any activity a regular pedal bicycle is used, only with the added benefit of an easier commute due to the power assist feature. Our folding bikes can be stored in a trunk and light enough to be carried on public transportation. The range the battery offers is enough to plan a day trip to the beach or exploring mountain ranges. Also, by adding panniers (saddle bags) the bike can be used for shopping trips and can store two bags of groceries, a huge benefit for urban living. Whether you live near the beach, a small town or bustling metropolis, an electric bike is a perfect transportation solution.
Are electric bikes safe to ride?


At its core, electric bikes operate like a regular bicycle, which can reach similar speeds. Just like a non-electric bicycle, there are brakes that allow you to slow down and stop. Because electric bikes can travel faster with less effort, its important to be extra cautious as you adjust to the new speeds. Make sure to wear a helpmet at all times. Please follow all normal safety precautions that would follow with a normal bicycle. Always adhere to the rules of the road.



Can I take out the battery to charge?
Sure! If you have a wall outlet to let you charge with the battery sitting in the bike, that's perfect. But if not, you can take out the battery back home to make a charge. The battery weighs only 8-10 lbs depending on different capacity.
Can I ride in the rain?

Most e-bikes you can ride in the rain if the electrical components are designed to be water resistant (most are). After wet riding, don't forget to wipe LCD display and battery to make them dry, otherwise overnight moisture sometimes hurt those electric parts. Good maintenance makes your ebike keeps like new. 

Please don't ride in water and river which is deep to touch motor and controller box, which is generally located in the bottom of battery.

Does it need a lot of setup before I ride the bike?
You need to install front wheel and pedals after you receive the package. If you are not familiar with bicycle, it takes around 10 mins before first ride. If you are a bike professional, only 3 mins. To get an even smoother ride, a bike professional can make adjustments to brakes and tensions. Just like any vehicle, bikes run better when they are maintain properly.
When will my order be shipped?
Once you receive order confirmation by email or text, it takes us 1-2 business day(s) to prepare your order and you'll be notified after we ship out.
Do I need a suspension front fork?

When you inflate fat tires with a lower pressure, the tire is soft and can help absorb the shocks from road.  Some of the bikes do have a suspension fork for extreme of road riding, however this suspension might not be needed for city streets. Some suspension forks have a locking mechanism when not needed on city streets.

What is the Bike warranty?

Most manufacturer's provides a 1 year warranty from the date you receive your bike. Whatever problem you have with your e-bike, just contact us or the manufacturer by either email or phone. We will send parts to you when necessary and will provide guidance to make sure that you can solve most problems with your bike.

What's included in the package?

If you order a bike from us, you'll receive a package including: complete bike, pedals, charger, F/R reflectors, and 4 stickers of CIVIBIKES.

Tools are not included, though you only need a 15 mm wrench and allen key to assembly the whole bike.

If I order accessories, will they come together?
Your accessories will be shipped out together with your bike. Separate boxes will be used to provide a full protection for the aluminum accessories.
Is the bike pre-assembled?
Most part of the bike is pre-assembled, but you need to assemble front wheel, handle bar, pedal and head light(if applicable) to the bike, which will take 10-20 mins. You can check SETUP on our website to have a better understanding.
